The project underwent a final bug hunt on Saturday during which we found and squashed a bunch of the big outstanding bugs left in the code. Art assets are being shored up and final tweaks are being made before the demo. At this point it’s smooth sailing. The decision was made to cut the Kraken due to time constraints – if we had unleashed such a deadly beast upon our game, we would want it to look polished and professional, something we feel we can’t accomplish with the remaining time we have.
