Zhuoran’s Week 4 Report

Goals

-allow simple assets integration

Accomplishments

-The artists of the project were able to produce a few preliminary 3d assets, and we are able to load them into a simple scene. Functionalities were added on the graphics engine to allow rotation, and scaling of the 3d models during at runtime.

Unaccomplished goals

-all 3d assets are using given color instead of textures.

Next Week’s goal

-Use Opengl billboards for character animations; use textures for 3d models appearances.

This Week’s lesson

-I refreshed my memory of version control in a collaborative environment.

Individual Morale

-I still look forward to what I will need to do in the coming weeks. Schedule is tighter than past weeks because of built up of tests and HWs from other classes, but I think I will manage.
