Eric’s Week 10 Report

Goal(s)

  • Cooldown UI with attacks
  • Make things feel and look better.
  • If I can finish Cooldown quickly, then work on: 360 ground arrow for attacks and 8 points

Next Week’s Goal(s)

  • Copy pasted from our discord chat’s “leftovers”/”known issues” channel.
    • fighter shield (unique ability)
    • sound effects (footsteps, unique attacks, grunts, more notification sounds)
    • tuning fighter attack distance and safeRegion shrinking time
    • minimap icons???
    • circle in the actual game instead of staring at minimap
    • monster has crawl animation, there if we would like to use it

Lesson(s)

  • Game development is fun and hard.

Morale

  • Literally only 60 hours (from when I’m writing this morale section) to when we actually demo. I am tired and it’s 4:18AM.
